The role oversees engagement teams, manages budgets and timelines, reviews workpapers and financial statements, and applies GAAP, GAAS, SEC and PCAOB requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Active CPA license required.
• Minimum 5 years public accounting, audit, or assurance experience.
• Proven leadership and project management experience.]
• Familiarity with SEC and PCAOB regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple audit, review, and assurance engagements from planning through completion.
• Oversee budgets, timelines, staffing, and deliverables for quality and efficiency.
• Review workpapers, financial statements, disclosures, and engagement documentation for accuracy.
• Apply GAAP, GAAS, and SEC/PCAOB requirements when applicable.
• Research and resolve complex accounting, auditing, and reporting matters.
• Serve as primary contact for client management and maintain strong client relationships.
• Provide insights on financial reporting, internal controls, and risk management.
• Mentor and develop associates and senior associates through coaching and feedback.
• Conduct detailed quality control reviews to ensure adherence to firm policies and standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive engagement efficiency.
• Support business development through networking and proposals.
