Job summary

GBC, a Springline company, is seeking an Audit Manager to join our Oklahoma office and strengthen our growing audit practice. You will lead engagements, manage planning and review, and communicate findings with clients, partnering with the Audit Partner to drive quality and efficiency.

This high-impact role focuses on mentoring staff, building a collaborative team, and contributing to business development while delivering a high-quality audit experience for diverse clients across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA designation strongly preferred, but not required.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience.
• Experience using Thomson Reuters Engagement Manager and Guided Assurance or similar cloud-based audit software.
• Strong communicator with the confidence to lead discussions and present findings.
• Technically strong auditor with sound judgment and attention to detail.
• Collaborative, team-oriented and committed to high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute audit engagements from planning through final review.
• Manage scheduling, workflow, and engagement planning.
• Review and approve workpapers, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Identify and assess risks; oversee testing and review procedures.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients.
• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver a high-quality audit experience.
• Contribute to business development efforts when appropriate.
