Job summary

MBP Global LLP is seeking an experienced Audit Manager or Senior Audit Manager to join our growing SEC and PCAOB Assurance Practice. The ideal candidate has 7-10+ years of public accounting audit experience and a CPA license, with a track record leading audits of SEC registrants and public companies.

You will lead complex engagements, supervise teams, and interact with CFOs and audit committees while supporting IPO and SPAC-related work. Flexible location: Remote / Hybrid / New York.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Active CPA license required.
• 7-10+ years of public accounting audit experience.
• Experience leading audits under PCAOB standards.
• Experience auditing SEC registrants and publicly traded companies.
• Strong knowledge of PCAOB standards, SEC reporting, and US GAAP.
• Experience supervising engagement teams and managing multiple client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead PCAOB audits from planning through report issuance.
• Manage audits of SEC registrants, publicly traded companies, IPO candidates, SPAC and de-SPAC transactions.
• Develop engagement strategies, audit plans, risk assessments, and resource allocations.
• Review audit documentation, testing procedures, financial statements, and disclosures.
• Ensure engagements comply with PCAOB standards, SEC regulations, firm policies, and professional standards.
• Direct, supervise, and mentor seniors, staff, and associates.
