We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Audit Manager with a deep understanding of the Insurance industry to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the flexibility to work remotely. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our Accounting and Finance department, providing expert auditing services to our insurance industry clients. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in similar roles. If you are a seasoned audit professional with a knack for detail, a strong understanding of STAT, and a passion for driving success, we would love to hear from you.

Job responsibilities

• Executing the full cycle of audit processes, including risk management and control over operations' effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance with directives and regulations.
• Determining internal audit scope and developing annual plans.
• Analyzing and evaluating accounting documentation, reports, data, flowcharts, etc.
• Preparing and presenting audit reports.
• Providing objective advice to ensure validity, legality, and goal achievement.
• Identifying loopholes, recommending risk mitigation and cost-saving measures.
• Conducting follow-up audits to monitor management interventions.
• Staying updated on industry rules, regulations, and best practices.
• Collaborating with team members for smooth auditing processes.
• Providing leadership and training to junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's or CPA preferred.
• At least 5+ years of proven auditing experience, preferably in insurance.
• Deep understanding of insurance-specific auditing and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in STAT and relevant software.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Leadership skills with team management experience.
• High integrity, professionalism, and ability to work independently remotely.
• Problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
• Discretion with confidential information.
• Commitment to industry standards and continuous learning.
