Baker Tilly is seeking an Audit Manager in Uniondale, NY to deliver industry-focused assurance services to middle-market clients. You will mentor staff, partner with firm leadership, and help drive engagement success.

You will work alongside leadership to deliver quality audits while building client relationships and contributing to the growth of the practice. You will oversee fieldwork, manage client relationships, and provide valuable financial statement guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required; CPA preferred or required
• 5+ years of audit experience in a professional services firm
• Leadership and mentoring experience
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
• Ability to supervise teams and manage multiple engagements

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team delivering assurance services to middle-market clients
• Oversee fieldwork to ensure quality and timely delivery
• Mentor and coach staff to develop technical and professional skills
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve client controls and processes

• Support staffing, budgets and billing targets
