Job summary

CLA is seeking an Audit Director/Manager to lead our State and Local Government practice in New York. You will oversee client engagements, mentor staff, and drive high-quality audits and financial reporting for government entities.

You have a CPA and 6+ years of public accounting, with strong leadership experience in governmental audits and single audits. The role offers competitive compensation and a path for career growth within CLA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of public accounting experience with emphasis in financial statement preparation and audits.
• Experience leading teams and managing governmental audits and Single audits strongly preferred.
• CPA license certification is required.

CLA is currently seeking an Audit Director/Audit Manager to join our State and Local Government (SLG) practice. Our SLG group is one of the fastest growing practice areas within CLA consisting of 600 professionals serving over 2100 local, county, and state government agencies.

What You Will Need

The compensation range for this position in Maryland is $108,500.00 - $184,000.00

The compensation range for this position in New York is $125,400.00 - $190,000.00
