Job Details

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the audit process, including planning, execution, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
• Provide assurance to stakeholders on the accuracy and completeness of financial statements
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
• Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and management
• Manage and mentor audit staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and apply them to improve audit processes and procedures
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Accounting or a related field (Masters preferred)
• CPA certification
• 5+ years of experience in audit, assurance, or related field
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, GASB and other regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and manage a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and able to work under tight deadlines
• Experience with audit software and tools
