Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking an Audit Manager in Northern California focused on the Asset Management Broker Dealer practice. You will lead engagements, mentor staff, and deliver high-quality assurance services to middle-market clients.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree required.
• Master's or advanced degree preferred.
• CPA required.
• Five years of experience providing auditing/assurance services.
• Experience with asset management, particularly broker dealer space, preferred.
• Two years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling desired.
• Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.

Responsabilités

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing audit and assurance services to clients.
• Proactively engage with clients to understand business goals and challenges.
• Lead fieldwork to ensure quality service and timely delivery of results.
• Provide financial statement guidance and business recommendations based on testing and information gathered.
• Deliver business insight through thoughtful review and discussion.
• Assist with managing engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensure client profitability targets are met.
• Mentor staff and contribute to their professional development.
• Support growth of the firm’s culture of Care and Teach and development programs.
