Audit Manager – Barnes Dennig Assurance

We work daily to provide exceptional client service by auditing client financials, their transactions and internal controls, while executing audit procedures of risk assessment and responsive audit work.

Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with clients and oversee day‑to‑day operations of audit engagements.
  • Coach, develop, and grow Barnes Dennig team members, providing an independent viewpoint of client data.
  • Create a robust picture of significant insights to the client and help not‑for‑profits fulfill their missions or build success for companies in our primary areas of practice.
  • Think strategically, put people first, and see beyond the numbers.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of audit experience; public accounting experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Master of Science in Accounting (undergraduate degree in Accounting preferred).
  • Interest in all aspects of audit and a desire to continue a career in public accounting with a CPA certification.
  • Proven skills in leadership, customer service, verbal and written communication, and organization.
  • Ability to interact at all levels, take initiative, anticipate problems, formulate resolutions, exercise good judgment, prioritize, multitask, and work independently.
