Workforce Solutions partners directly with leading small to mid-sized CPA firms across the United States to connect them with top talent in the public accounting industry. We are currently working with a rapidly growing CPA firm in the Springfield / Republic, Missouri area. They are looking for audit/assurance talent with 2+ years of related experience at a CPA firm to join their team in remote, hybrid, and onsite roles. Don't live nearby? What's the role?

Responsibilities

Audit / Assurance Managers are responsible for managing client relationships while auditing their financial records for compliance with generally accepted accounting rules and standards. This includes:

• Analyzing client financial records to identify potential accounting issues and performing research to present proposed solutions.
• Training, mentoring, and managing team members in audit processes.
• Building new and strengthening existing client relationships while demonstrating basic knowledge of clients' businesses.
• Communicating and meeting with clients as requested; providing recommendations to assist clients with financial or tax needs.
  
  

What experience and skills do I need to be successful?

• 2+ years in a similar role within a public accounting firm.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting highly desired or equivalent work experience.
• CPA certification; additional audit-related certifications are a plus.
• Strong computer skills for working in tax software and Microsoft Office products.
