Job summary

Interns work with teams to test financial data, reconcile accounts, and draft observations, building technical accounting knowledge and professional skills while meeting CPA eligibility requirements and GPA expectations.

Qualifications

• Intern must be working toward CPA Exam eligibility.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is expected.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Interns must have reliable transportation to and from the assigned office and be able to attend off-site meetings and events in person.

Responsibilities

• Completing audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets.
• Working with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data.
• Helping to draft management letter comments and the audit report.
• Participating in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers.
