Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP invites interns to gain hands-on experience in audit or tax. You will work on client engagements similar to entry-level staff, with exposure to various industries and the opportunity to test your technical accounting knowledge.

Depending on local office needs, internships may be in assurance, tax, or a combination, and can be part-time or full-time. Winter internships typically run January–April 15, and summer internships from early June to mid-August.

Qualifications

• Pursuing CPA Exam eligibility.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Complete audit tests on financial statement accounts such as cash, payables, or fixed assets.
• Reconcile differences and analyze financial data with client personnel.
• Draft management letter comments and audit reports.
• Participate in client meetings with partners and managers.
