Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is offering an internship in accounting in Memphis, TN. You will gain exposure to audit and tax engagements, testing your skills across assurance and tax disciplines, and learn from senior staff and management.

Interns may work part-time or full-time with winter and summer sessions, gaining hands-on client experience and the opportunity to participate in client meetings with partners and managers.

Qualifications

• Internship opportunity across assurance or tax tracks.
• Winter internship Jan–April 15th; Summer internship early June–mid August.
• Must be working toward an accounting degree and CPA licensure eligibility.
• Must have reliable transportation to/from assigned office and attend off-site meetings.

Responsibilities

• Completing audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets.
• Working with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data.
• Helping to draft management letter comments and the audit report.
• Participating in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers.
