Job summary

PwC in the United States is seeking an Audit Intern to support audit teams on financial statement audits within our Assurance practice. You will learn PwC methodologies, apply GAAP/GAAS, and observe the audit process to build foundational skills in financial reporting and client service.

Ideal candidates are pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with at least a 3.0 GPA, and must meet CPA exam eligibility in their intended state. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s in Accounting.
• Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
• Must meet CPA exam eligibility for state of employment.
• Entry-level role suitable for third year/fourth year students.

Responsibilities

• Supporting audit teams in financial statement audits and gaining exposure to auditing methodologies.
• Reviewing and verifying financial documents for transparency and compliance with standards.
• Assisting in analysis and interpretation of financial data to identify trends.
• Documenting audit processes and findings to maintain organized records.
• Learning GAAP and GAAS in audit tasks.
• Collaborating with team members to monitor financial trends and assess risks.
• Contributing to internal controls evaluation and identifying improvements.
• Using data analysis to support the audit process and improve reporting quality.
• Observing experienced auditors to learn client interactions.
