Job summary

Commerce Bank in Kansas City, MO invites motivated undergraduates or graduates to join our Audit Internship. You will gain hands-on experience across IT Audit, SOX testing, and data analytics in a collaborative environment. The 11-week summer program runs May 18–July 30, 2027, with a hybrid schedule and in-office presence required a few days per week. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Undergrad or grad student pursuing a related degree.
• Ability to learn auditing techniques.
• Interest in IT, cybersecurity and data analysis.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work with the IT Audit team and SOX testing teams.
• Rotate across audit teams and data analytics.
• Analyze and evaluate controls, processes, and procedures.
• Perform independent testing within audits as assigned.
• Interact with business line personnel and management.
• Assist with special projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
