Job summary

Penn State University’s Office of Internal Audit is seeking a full-time Spring 2027 internship for students in MAcc Accounting, Undergraduate Accounting, or IT-related programs. This hybrid role requires at least 60% on-site work (three days/week).

Interns will assist auditors with financial, operational, compliance, and IT audits, collect and analyze audit data, ensure policy compliance, and document results in audit reports. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing MAcc Accounting, Undergraduate Accounting, or IT related studies.
• Must be a U.S. citizen to apply.
• Interest in internal auditing and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Financial and IT Auditors in financial, operational, and IT audits.
• Collect, organize, and analyze audit data and determine compliance with policies.
• Document results and prepare audit reports.
