Interns will gain hands-on experience on client engagements, observe senior staff, and learn from management while developing technical accounting skills and CPA eligibility toward the CPA Exam.

Qualifications

• Pursuing CPA Exam eligibility is expected.
• Academic performance in related coursework should be satisfactory.
• Must have reliable transportation to/from assigned office.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Completing audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets.
• Working with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data.
• Helping to draft management letter comments and the audit report.
• Participating in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers.
