Job summary

RSM is seeking interns to work with mid-market clients across industries, building strong client relationships and contributing to multiple engagements yearly.

Interns will gain exposure to audit approaches, risk assessment, and financial statement preparation while collaborating with a team in a flexible environment. Travel to client sites is required and transportation access is essential.

Qualifications

• 90 credit hours completed.
• Working towards B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent.
• Accounting major required.
• Travel to assigned client locations is required.
• Must have access to reliable transportation to those locations.

Responsibilities

• Understand clients' needs, industry, accounting and GAAP/GAAS issues.
• Develop understanding of the RSM audit approach and tools.
• Assess risks and evaluate internal controls.
• Perform substantive tests and tests of internal controls.
• Draft financial statements under prescribed formats.
