Job summary

RSM Global is seeking interns to work with a range of clients, from small to large, across industries. You will build client relationships and understand their business challenges while contributing to multiple engagements each year.

You will gain exposure to audit processes, GAAP/GAAS, and financial statement drafting, with a focus on accuracy and professional growth in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 90 credit hours completed.
• Working towards a BA/BS degree from an accredited university.
• Accounting major.
• Travel to assigned client locations required; reliable transportation required.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand clients' needs, their business and industry, GAAP and GAAS issues.
• Develop understanding of the RSM audit approach and tools.
• Assess risks and evaluate the client's internal control structure.
• Perform substantive tests and tests of internal controls to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues.
• Drafting financial statements under prescribed formats.
