Job summary

Armanino is seeking a talented student to support audit engagements in Los Angeles. You will assist in performing audits, reviews and compilations, documenting workpapers, and analyzing financial statements to help form client conclusions.

The role requires enrollment in a CPA-eligible program, with a strong preference for completing CPA licensure requirements between 2027 and 2028. Eligible US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or certificate program in business, accounting, finance, economics, information systems or equivalent.
• Plan to complete 150 semester/225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2027 – August 2028 strongly preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assist and lead in the performance and documentation of audit procedures and preparation of workpapers
• Contribute to the completion of the audits, reviews, compilations, and various consulting engagements
• Interpret and analyze financial statement data to form conclusions and prepare client deliverables
• Thoroughly evaluate assigned areas of financial statements and identify potential points of risk
• Research and analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters
• Identify and perform audit procedures over the design, implementation, and effectiveness of internal controls
• Engage with client personnel and the engagement team to develop further relationships
