Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Before starting full-time, eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment
• Intern positions are entry-level; typically third year of a four-year degree or fourth year of a five-year program

Responsibilities

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits and gain exposure to auditing methodologies
• Review and verify financial documents to uphold transparency and compliance with standards
• Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making
• Document audit processes and findings to maintain organized records
• Learn and apply GAAP and GAAS in audit tasks
• Collaborate to monitor financial trends and assess risk factors
• Contribute to evaluating internal controls and identifying improvement areas
• Use data analysis to support the audit process and improve reporting quality
• Observe and learn from experienced auditors to understand audit practices and client interactions
