Job summary

InterBank in Oklahoma City is seeking an Audit Intern to assist in performing, documenting, and communicating results of internal audits and projects. You will support fieldwork, analyze testing results, and help identify control deficiencies with guidance from experienced staff.

The position requires currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, plus a valid driver’s license and a background check. Strong Microsoft Office skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel) and able to type efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Performing and documenting fieldwork for internal audit and control testing.
• Analyzing testing results and investigating exceptions with appropriate personnel.
• Identifying internal control deficiencies, accounting errors, or compliance violations and root cause.
• Assisting in preparing written audit reports and communicating findings to management and Audit Committee.
• Assisting external auditors, regulatory examiners, and other consultants as needed.
• Maintains understanding of general bank accounting procedures and upholds confidentiality.
