Job summary

Plante Moran is seeking an intern to support audit and tax engagements, with exposure to multiple service lines. You’ll assist in planning, testing, researching, and reporting across compilations, reviews, and tax areas.

The program targets students pursuing accounting degrees, maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0, and aiming to sit for the CPA exam. The internship emphasizes growth, flexibility, and meaningful client work within a large professional services firm.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented leader with problem solving, communication, and analytical skills.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting; or Master’s degree in accounting or tax.
• Academic success (GPA 3.0 or higher).
• On track to complete the degree and credits to sit for the CPA exam; CPA license goal.

Responsibilities

• Participating in different phases of the audit and/or tax engagement.
• Planning, testing, researching, and reporting.
• Working with compilations, reviews, compliance, financial statements, and benefit plans.
• Engaging in corporate, partnership, individual, international federal, and state & local taxes.
• Meaningful interactions with staff at all levels and with clients.
• Gain exposure to a wide range of business opportunities within a professional services firm.
