Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP invites applicants for Audit Intern roles in Fort Worth, TX. Interns will gain insight into public accounting, work under multiple supervisors on various client engagements, and apply accounting knowledge using firm technology.

You will shadow audit professionals and participate in team-building and outreach projects. Applicants must be juniors or seniors in an accredited accounting or related program, with a GPA around 3.0 or higher preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel)
• Need to be enrolled in an accounting or related program
• Junior or senior with near graduation preferred

Responsibilities

• Gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a foundation for your career.
• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels
• Participate in team building and training initiatives
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings
