Job summary

The Bonadio Group is seeking an Assurance Efficiency Center (AEC) Coordinator to support our Assurance Service Line in Albany, NY. You will join a collaborative team focused on efficiency through standardized processes, technology, and operational support for audit engagements.

Responsibilities include training, preparing workpapers, client portal setup, drafting letters, SOC mapping, and various testing procedures. This is an hourly position with friendly office hours and room for growth.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Accounting or related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting considered for the role.
• Candidates pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Participate in training to develop audit support knowledge and technical skills.
• Collaborate with AEC team and client-service professionals on engagements.
• Prepare and maintain audit workpapers and engagement files.
• Assist with client portal setup, rollforward activities and document requests via MyPortal.
• Draft and update engagement letters and audit-related documents.
• Perform financial statement tie-outs, recalculations, and QA procedures.
• Map and document SOC reports and sustain standardized AEC procedures.
• Support with journal, payroll, investment testing and other procedures as assigned.
• Assist with documentation organization and progress updates to AEC leadership.
