Job Summary – Audit Data Senior Consultant (Remote, U.S.)

• Lead end-to-end data quality testing for AML and transaction monitoring audits, including population completeness, accuracy, lineage, and reconciliation.
• Execute issue-validation engagements (MRAs/MRPs, consent-order actions), drafting robust workpapers and management action closure memos for regulatory scrutiny.
• Develop and maintain test scripts, risk & control matrices, and sampling methodologies tailored to AML data flows.
• Collaborate with model risk, IT audit, and operations teams to trace and validate data from source systems through ETL layers to AML monitoring engines (e.g., Actimize, SAS AML).
• Present audit findings and recommendations to client Internal Audit leadership and regulators, advising on best practices for remediation.
• Mentor junior staff on third-line audit methodology and advanced data analytics techniques.
• Utilize advanced SQL and data profiling skills to independently analyze large datasets.
• Ensure documentation and closure of regulatory findings in compliance with OCC and FRB standards.
• Maintain strong communication skills for the preparation of regulator-facing deliverables.
• Stay current with OCC Heightened Expectations, FFIEC BSA/AML Examination Manual, and relevant MRA closure protocols.
• Preferred: Experience with AML platforms (Actimize, SAS, NICE, Verafin), data-lineage tools, professional certifications (CAMS, CISA, CIA, CRCM, CFE), and prior consulting or Big Four data audit experience.
