Job summary

HTB is seeking an eager student to join our Audit + Assurance team in a role designed for early career growth. You will learn audit procedures, assist Seniors and Managers, and gain exposure to diverse client industries while leveraging the firm’s tools and resources.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an accounting degree with 0–2 years of related experience and a strong interest in professional development within a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting from a four-year college or university.
• 0 to 2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Learns and assists audit professionals under direction of Seniors, Supervisors, Manager, Senior Managers and Partners.
• Becomes familiar with the firm’s policies and procedures including workpaper preparation, audit, and accounting procedures, and documentation and testing of internal controls.
• Keeps current on technical issues and learns to apply them to client circumstances.
• Becomes proficient in the use of the Firm’s technology and research tools.
• Begins to develop a command of GAAP and generally accepted auditing standards.
