Jobot is seeking an Audit & Assurance Accountant to join our growing team in Southwest Michigan. This hybrid role offers exposure to diverse clients and a direct collaboration with firm leadership to deliver high-quality audit and assurance engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification.
• Approximately 2-4 years of public accounting experience.
• Audit and assurance experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
• Self-starter mentality with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in audit and assurance engagements for a diverse client base.
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting documentation.
• Assist with planning, fieldwork, testing, and completion of engagements.
• Analyze financial information and identify areas of risk.
• Communicate with clients and build trusted business relationships.
• Collaborate with partners and team members to deliver exceptional client service.
• Support continuous process improvement initiatives and stay current on auditing standards.
