Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is seeking an Audit Associate to join our State and Local Government (SLG) practice in Texas. You will perform detailed audits, reviews, and related assurance services for government clients and help deliver engagements on time and within budget.

You'll support multiple client engagements, communicate progress to supervisors, and build strong client relationships. A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 1 year of relevant experience are preferred; CPA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1 year of relevant experience in professional services.
• State and Local Government audit experience is a plus.
• CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and related accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits, reviews, and compilations for clients.
• Support multiple engagements of varying size, on time and within budget.
• Communicate progress and results to supervisors.
• Direct small audit pieces and prepare financial statements.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure quality service.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
