Job summary

Weaver is seeking an Audit Associate to join our growing firm. The role performs audit procedures on engagements and collaborates with Senior Associates and Managers to identify and resolve issues during financial statement audits.

A Weaver Associate will develop work papers, assist in financial statement preparation, and plan professional development with their group leader. The ideal candidate is a team player who communicates effectively and handles multiple assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA candidate status or progress.
• Internship or light experience in public accounting.
• Basic familiarity with GAAP and GAAS.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures as assigned on engagements.
• Collaborate with Senior Associates and Managers to resolve issues.
• Develop effective and clear work papers for audits.
• Assist with financial statement preparation.
• Plan your professional development with your group leader.
