Job summary

Baker Tilly is a leading advisory, tax and assurance firm seeking an Audit Associate to deliver audit and other assurance services to clients in a fast-growing national firm. You will develop client service and technical accounting skills, with coaching and development programs designed to support your growth and long-term career inside the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master's degree in accounting or related degree with CPA exam eligibility.
• GPA 3.0 or above recommended.
• Relevant internship, work experience and/or professional organization involvement.
• Ability to work effectively in a team with all levels of client personnel.
• Strong time management, communication, interpersonal skills, and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing various assurance and consulting services.
• Proactively engage with clients throughout the year to gather information and respond to questions.
• Perform substantive testing on balance sheets and income statements.
• Test for deficiencies of internal controls and discuss recommendations for improvement.
• Learn and grow from on-the-job coaching and firm-wide learning programs.
• Build relationships with clients and colleagues to deliver value.
