Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking an accounting student entering the CPA path for full-time Audit or Tax roles in Indiana. You will be mentored by experienced staff and managers while developing technical skills and shaping your career path.

Responsibilities include performing audit testing on accounts, reconciling data with clients, drafting management letters, and joining client meetings with partners and managers. Strong communication and initiative are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for associate positions.
• Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in at least one U.S. State by start date.
• Solid accounting knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit testing on financial statement accounts (cash, payables, fixed assets).
• Collaborate with client personnel to reconcile differences and analyze data.
• Draft management letter comments and the audit report.
• Participate in client meetings with Forvis Mazars partners and managers.
