Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking accounting students for full-time Audit opportunities to develop technical skills and CPA eligibility. You will work with clients across industries, building relationships while applying critical thinking to solve problems and meet deadlines.

You will contribute to audit testing, data analysis, and drafting management letters, with involvement in client meetings alongside partners and managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for associate positions.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in at least one U.S. State by the start date.
• Solid technical accounting knowledge and proficiency with MS Office.
• Reliable transportation to and from the assigned office and ability to attend off-site meetings in person.

Responsibilities

• Completing audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets.
• Working with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data.
• Helping to draft management letter comments and the audit report.
• Participating in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers.
