Job description

Essential Duties
  • Perform assigned assurance procedures, including audits, reviews, compilations, and agreed‑upon procedures.
  • Reconcile workpapers to trial balance accounts and ensure neat, complete, and organized documentation.
  • Understand and apply basic concepts of GAAP, GAAS, and other financial reporting frameworks.
  • Determine scope of testing, select samples, and demonstrate audit skepticism.
  • Prepare and review draft financial statements and identify potential issues for documentation and communication.
  • Obtain an understanding of control deficiencies and assist in documenting items for management communication.
  • Manage individual workloads across multiple engagements and prioritize tasks with supervisor guidance.
  • Communicate effectively with team members on project statuses and participate actively in meetings.
  • Develop a basic understanding of client industries and issues that may impact audit work.
  • Contribute to team efforts by volunteering to assist and participating in training and independent learning.
  • Demonstrate strong time‑management skills to meet deadlines and engagement priorities.
  • Perform other duties and display flexibility to take on a variety of responsibilities assigned by firm leadership.
  • Meet annual billable hour and other targets to fulfill individual performance and overall firm productivity.
