ClearPoint CPAs PC is seeking an Audit Associate to join our assurance team in Johnson City, TN. You’ll gain hands-on audit experience across diverse industries while collaborating with experienced CPAs. This role welcomes recent graduates and early-career professionals eager to grow technically and professionally.

You’ll plan and perform audits, prepare working papers, and interact with clients to resolve questions, contributing to a high-quality client experience and strong team outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
• 0–3 years of relevant experience; recent accounting graduates welcome.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and performing audits, reviews, and compilations for a diverse client base
• Perform audit testing of financial statement accounts, transactions, and internal controls
• Prepare organized workpapers documenting audit procedures, results, and findings
• Work directly with clients to obtain documentation and resolve audit questions
• Collaborate with senior staff and team members to deliver accurate, high-quality work
