What to expect:

• Total first-year compensation expected range of $65,000 to $75,000 (including bonuses)

Job duties:

• Be available to perform audit field work on-site, primarily at the Colorado Springs office and/or client offices. We do have clients in Denver area as well.
• Assist customers/clients with basic accounting practices
• Create financial statements in a prescribed format
• Ensure compliance with all applicable plans, policies, and standards
• Collaborate with other auditors to assure companies adherence to accounting standards
• Plan and complete other assigned segments of the audit or other tasks assigned by senior auditors
• Collect all documentation necessary for audits
• Identify deficiencies within the auditing process and meet with appropriate staff to resolve deficiencies
• Report audit findings
• Perform other related duties as assigned

To be a successful candidate, you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in business with accounting / finance emphasis (or proven experience to match)
• Excellent Excel, Word and Adobe PDF skills
• Ability to switch between client assignments throughout any given day
• Computer literacy with a strong ability to learn multiple software programs simultaneously and effectively

• Verbal and written ability to communicate professionally and effectively

• Self-motivated with attention to deadline
• Excellent organization and time management skills
