One of our companies is currently looking for an Audit Analyst - Healthcare in the United States.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to play a key role in ensuring compliance and supporting audit functions within the healthcare space. As an Audit Analyst, you'll work directly with compliance leadership to research regulations, conduct internal and external audits, and support company-wide risk management initiatives. Your work will help uphold regulatory standards and contribute to a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. This remote role is best suited to someone based in the EST or CST time zone with a strong understanding of healthcare compliance and privacy laws.

Accountabilities:

  • Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and assist with external audits to identify process gaps and areas of improvement
  • Research federal and state healthcare laws and regulations, and ensure internal practices align accordingly
  • Support the development, maintenance, and implementation of compliance policies and training materials
  • Track audit outcomes, document compliance trends, and communicate findings to relevant departments
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and other privacy-related regulations
  • Draft compliance-related correspondence and support ad hoc business and legal tasks
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and escalate any compliance issues that require higher-level decision-making


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; minimum of 3+ years of experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management within the healthcare industry
  • Knowledge of multi-state healthcare regulations and strong understanding of HIPAA and HITECH
  • Proven ability to conduct regulatory research and apply findings to business practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly
  • Detail-oriented and analytical, with exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Limited travel as needed by the business
