Job summary

Visionality in Richardson, TX is seeking an Audiovisual Systems Technical Support and Management professional to support AV and videoconferencing systems, and to take project responsibility for scheduling field deployments. You will work with purchasing, customers and field personnel to coordinate delivery and installation.

The role requires strong communication, networking knowledge, and the ability to read schematics and BOM.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or technical degree preferred.
• 3 years’ experience with Audio Visual equipment.
• Relevant network experience.
• InfoComm CTS certification and/or manufacturer certifications preferred (AMX, Crestron, Extron).
• Travel may be required.
• Background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Take technical support calls for installed AV and networked videoconferencing products.
• Coordinate scheduling of field deployment projects with purchasing, customers and field personnel.
• Work with colleagues to ensure timely delivery and installation.
• Read schematics and BOM to assist installation teams.

Job description

Audiovisual Systems Technical Support and Management

Applicant will be required to take technical support calls for installed Audio Visual products as well as Networked based Videoconferencing infrastructure products. The candidate will also have project responsibility for scheduling projects for field deployment. The applicant will work with purchasing, customers, and field personnel to coordinate delivery and installation process.

• Excellent communications skills both in person and over the phone
• Good organization skills
• The ability to work with spreadsheets and other relevant computer skills.
• Excellent math skills are a must
• Problem solving and trouble-shooting skills; creative thinking.
• Effective professional-level interaction with employees, customers and colleagues.
• The ability to read schematics, and block diagrams.
• The ability to read and understand BOM and other relevant materials.
• A deep understanding of computer networks
• Working knowledge of audio visual and videoconferencing devices.
• Relevant certifications from applicable vendors or from Infocomm
• Travel may be required
• Must have a “clean” background. We regularly work in secure locations. Applicant will need to pass abackground check
