Job summary

Reston Ear, Nose, & Throat, an affiliate of SENTA Partners, is Northern Virginia's premier ENT center. We are seeking a motivated Audiology Technician to join our team, supporting audiologists in evaluations and treatment of hearing disorders.

Qualifications

• Audiology Technician supports audiologists in evaluating and treating hearing disorders.
• Experience with hearing tests, tympanometry, OAEs is preferred.
• Ability to prepare patients for evaluations and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hearing tests and assessments using audiometric equipment under the supervision of an audiologist.
• Prepare patients for audiometric evaluations, including explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort.
• Perform tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions (OAEs), and other diagnostic tests as required.
• Assist in the fitting, maintenance, and repair of hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
• Maintain and calibrate audiometric equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.
• Record and document patient information accurately and maintain patient files.
• Provide patients with information and instructions regarding hearing aid use and care.
• Assist audiologists with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling phone inquiries.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment, following all safety and infection control protocols.
• Stay current with advancements in audiology and hearing aid technology through ongoing education and training.
