ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interface with patients, including obtaining hearing/health history, administering cognitive screenings, and performing other test procedures as allowed by law.
- Assist the remote audiologist in advanced audiometric evaluations, fitting and programming of both the Earlens Direct Contact Devices as well as Acoustic Hearing Devices.
- Assist the remote audiologist in verification and validation protocols.
- Assist the remote audiologist in follow up procedures and processes.
- Provide exceptional service and create an experience that goes above and beyond patient expectations.
- Work collaboratively with staff and support services to achieve a high level of coordinated patient care and
- Assist with clinic opening procedures, daily preparation, practice good safety and sanitation protocol, maintain inventory and supplies, support marketing activities, and closing procedures.
- Maintain patient charts, communicate with patients, manage the schedule, patient clinical records, inventory and patient invoicing using online OMS (Office Management System).
- Prepare thorough patient report packets for partnering providers.
- Complete and submit forms for patient orders and re-orders.
- Maintain active management of schedule, prioritize actions and people interactions with timeliness and consistently meet expectations of the role.
- Other clinical and administrative duties as assigned.
Job Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Minimum High School Graduate or Equivalent.
- Experience in a medical/healthcare clinical environment.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple areas of responsibility concurrently.
- Must be able to plan and work independently as well as with a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse patient, colleague, and vendor population
