Wellstar Health System in Augusta, GA is seeking an Audiology Extern to support diagnostic testing, AABR, OAE, cochlear implant and BAHA evaluations, and hearing aid fittings under supervision. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Must be actively enrolled in and have completed at least 2 years in Graduate Audiology Doctoral Program.
All certifications required upon hire.
Experience with pediatric and adult diagnostic audiology preferred.
BAHA evaluation/activation/follow ups preferred.
Cochlear implant evaluation/activation/follow ups preferred.
Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) testing preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic testing on pediatrics and/or adults.
Proficient in hearing aid evaluations, programming, and checks.
Assists within cochlear implant and BAHA evaluations, activations, and follow ups.
Performs automated ABR (AABR) and ABR (sedated and non-sedated) testing with the assistance of the Audiologist when needed.
Demonstrates advanced problem solving skills in regards to equipment/order processing and making appropriate suggestions for follow up with Audiologists.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
