Job summary

AU Medical Associates, Inc. is seeking an Audiology Extern. Under the supervision of an Audiologist, you will assist with diagnostic testing, AABR, OAE, cochlear implant and BAHA evaluations/programming, hearing aid evaluations and fittings, ABR testing, VNG, and clinic duties.

The role supports both pediatric and adult patients, requires enrollment in a Graduate Audiology Doctoral Program (minimum 2 years completed), and demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Must be actively enrolled in and have completed at least 2 years in Graduate Audiology Doctoral Program.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic testing on pediatrics and adults.
• Proficient in hearing aid evaluations, programming, and checks.
• Assists within cochlear implant and BAHA evaluations, activations, and follow ups.
• Performs automated ABR (AABR) and ABR testing with the assistance of the Audiologist.
• Demonstrates advanced problem solving skills in regards to equipment/order processing and making follow up with Audiologists.
