Job summary

Qualifications

• Must actively be in an AuD program.
• Externship position offering practical experience and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Learn from your preceptor and participate in patient care.
• Document appointments and maintain accurate notes.
• Lead selection, fitting, follow-ups, and service appointments.
• Order and service hearing aids as needed.
• Take earmold impressions and manage related tasks.
• Conduct follow-up calls with patients and assist in meetings.
• Participate in clinic/company meetings and other duties as required.

Salary range is $19-23/hr

Responsibilities

• - Hands-On Learning: From day 1, gain practical experience and mentorship from audiologists in comprehensive evaluations, patient engagement, and solution-oriented education. Clinics may also offer experience in pediatric and vestibular testing.
• - Peer interaction: You'll virtually connect with externs nationwide, building a supportive network for structured encouragement. This collaboration enhances clinical skills and insights into office operations.

• Learn, ask questions to your preceptor.
