HearingLife in Parma Heights, OH, is offering Audiology Extern positions for AuD students. You will gain hands-on experience with audiological evaluations, fittings, and patient education under expert mentors.

Responsibilities

• Learn from your preceptor and apply hands-on learning in audiological evaluations and patient education.
• Appointment documentation and scheduling follow-ups.
• Lead selection, fitting, follow-up, and service appointments for hearing aid patients.
• Ordering/servicing hearing aids as requested by clinicians.
• Take earmold impressions and conduct follow-up calls with patients.
• Participate in clinic/company meetings and contribute to team goals.
• Any task beneficial to your clinic and patient care.

Salary range is $19-23/hr

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Learning: From day 1, gain practical experience and mentorship from audiologists in comprehensive evaluations, patient engagement, and solution-oriented education. Clinics may also offer experience in pediatric and vestibular testing.
• Peer interaction: You'll virtually connect with externs nationwide, building a supportive network for structured encouragement. This collaboration enhances clinical skills and insights into office operations.
