HearingLife in Somerset, NJ offers an Audiology Externship for AuD students to gain hands-on experience with mentorship and exposure to comprehensive evaluations, patient engagement, and solution-oriented education, including pediatric and vestibular testing.

As part of a nationwide network, externs connect with peers, participate in monthly workshops, and have opportunities for internal promotion within HearingLife, while using cutting-edge hearing technology to tailor patient care.

• Lead selection, fitting, follow-up, and service appointments
• Ordering/servicing hearing aids
• Earmold impressions

Salary range is $22-26/hr

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Learning: From day 1, gain practical experience and mentorship from audiologists in comprehensive evaluations, patient engagement, and solution-oriented education. Clinics may also offer experience in pediatric and vestibular testing.
• Peer interaction: You'll virtually connect with externs nationwide, building a supportive network for structured encouragement. This collaboration enhances clinical skills and insights into office operations.
• Continuous Growth: Thrive in an environment of learning and development by participating in monthly manufacturer-lead workshops or meet one-on-one with trainers for individualized learning.
