HearingLife in Manchester, NH, part of the Demant Group, invites Audiology Doctoral Student externs to join our nationwide team of over 600 centers. Externs gain hands-on experience with evaluations, patient engagement, and education, with opportunities in pediatric and vestibular testing.

Responsibilities

• - Hands-On Learning: From day 1, gain practical experience and mentorship from audiologists in comprehensive evaluations, patient engagement, and solution-oriented education. Clinics may also offer experience in pediatric and vestibular testing.
• - Peer interaction: You'll virtually connect with externs nationwide, building a supportive network for structured encouragement. This collaboration enhances clinical skills and insights into office operations.

Daily Extern Responsibilities:

• Learn, ask questions to your preceptor.
• Appointment documentation
• Lead selection, fitting, follow-up, and service appointments
• Ordering/servicing hearing aids
• Earmold impressions
• Conduct follow up calls with patients.
• Participate in clinic/company meetings.
• Any task beneficial to your clinic
