HearingLife in Dunellen, NJ is seeking Audiology Doctoral Students for externships to gain hands-on experience and mentorship with a nationwide network of centers.

Salary range is $19-23/hr

Responsibilities

• - Hands-On Learning: From day 1, gain practical experience and mentorship from audiologists in comprehensive evaluations, patient engagement, and solution-oriented education. Clinics may also offer experience in pediatric and vestibular testing.
• - Peer interaction: You'll virtually connect with externs nationwide, building a supportive network for structured encouragement. This collaboration enhances clinical skills and insights into office operations.
• - Continuous Growth: Thrive in an environment of learning and development by participating in monthly manufacturer-lead workshops or meet one-on-one with trainers for individualized learning. Qualifications

• Must actively be in an AuD program.
• Daily Extern Responsibilities:
  • Learn, ask questions to your preceptor.
  • Appointment documentation
  • Lead selection, fitting, follow-up, and service appointments
  • Ordering/servicing hearing aids
  • Earmold impressions
  • Conduct follow up calls with patients.
  • Participate in clinic/company meetings.
  • Any task beneficial to your clinic
