Job summary

UMass Memorial Health seeks an Audiology Assistant to support hearing evaluations, hearing aid programming, and data management. Under an Audiologist, you will assist with patient care, rooming, case histories, and basic clerical tasks in a busy audiology clinic.

Required: associate degree with healthcare background and MA licensure eligibility, with licensure training provided. A signing bonus may be available and the role is based in Worcester, MA with a standard 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with a Health Care background.
• Eligibility to become licensed as an Audiology Assistant in Massachusetts.
• Audiology department provides licensure training.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications Disorder preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing assistance during audiological evaluations.
• Rooming patients and taking patient case history.
• Program hearing aids for CI and Baha evaluations.
• Troubleshooting hearing technology devices and drafting requests for parts.
• Enter data into databases for research and maintain statistics.
• Administrative duties as needed.
• Maintain inventory, organize supplies, and stock consult rooms.
• Keep clinic neat and orderly.
