Job summary

ENT & Allergy of Delaware is seeking an Audiology Assistant to support routine hearing aid checks, repairs, and patient services in a busy clinical setting. The role includes coordinating orders, assisting with programming, and documenting payments and follow-up visits.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, excellent customer service, and strong communication skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. PTO and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine audiology assistant checks and warranty expiration visits.
• Assist with repairs and send aids to manufacturers when needed.
• Order hearing aids, repairs, accessories and chargers from manufacturers.
• Counsel patients on warranties, coverage and service plans.
• Document patient fees and payments; schedule follow-up visits.
• Maintain stocked clinical and repair rooms and order supplies.

We strive to maintain an environment where our employees can grow and further their skills and careers while being a part of a strong team.Responsibilities:Audiology assistant checks - routine hearing aid checks, warranty expiration visits, Loss & Damage claims, repairs, etc.)Perform in office repairs of hearing aids and assistive devices, when possible and send aids to the manufacturers when needed.Order hearing aids, repairs, accessories, chargers, receivers, etc. from manufacturers in a timely mannerCounsel patient regarding repair warranties, Loss & Damage coverage (manufacturer and ESCO), and service plan optionsAppropriately charge for all parts and services. Document patient fees and payments on hearing aid encounter tickets and invoices, when applicable.Ensure patients schedule appropriate follow up visits with audiologists and audiology assistantsAssist with hearing aid package check-in/programmingEnsure clinical rooms and repair rooms are well stocked.
