Job summary

Staffing Proxy LLC in Northern Michigan is seeking an Audiologist to support its growth at Cheboygan and Harbor Springs locations. The role offers a broad private-practice scope with opportunities in tinnitus management or APD expansion.

Responsibilities include comprehensive hearing evaluations, cochlear implant candidacy and mapping, REM-assisted fittings, and VA hearing healthcare. Generous PTO, retirement match, and health stipend accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Au.D. degree required.
• Michigan audiologist license or eligibility required.
• Strong diagnostic and hearing aid skills expected.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient counseling skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations including audiometry and immittance tests.
• Perform cochlear implant candidacy evaluations and mapping.
• Provide hearing aid evaluations and amplification solutions tailored to patients.
• Use REM to verify hearing aid performance and fitting.
• Assess tinnitus and provide appropriate management recommendations.
• Deliver VA C&P examinations and VA/community care hearing healthcare.
• Educate patients and families on hearing loss, amplification, and communication strategies.
